Fast is NOT the Word to Use

Tristan has grown so much in the last month that I haven't even had time to blink. We have had so many firsts in the past month! I'm am so proud of my baby T and I love to watch him grow!

First things FIRST

• Started using a sippy cup
• Mastered the army crawl
• Turned 7 months old!
• Learned how pull himself up on his own (to sitting position)
• Learned to crawl on all fours
• Found his lungs... meaning, he loves to talk and YELL
• STAND! He can pull himself up standing position now!
  

Apparently, Tristan doesn't like to do one thing for too long... He learns one thing, then he's ready for the next. I will admit, I absolutely LOVE this age! I love having a mobile baby. Keeps me on my feet, that's for sure! He likes to throw his toys and play with all things that aren't toys. Everything goes where? IN THE MOUTH!!

Camping!

This is a little late, my apologies. We have had so much going on lately and so much to deal with that I haven't had much time to sit and update. To say the least, I'm no good at keeping up with things.

Two weekends ago, we went camping and met Tj's family there in Payson. The weather was GREAT and so enjoyable. It was nice to be away and definitely helped clear our minds. I'm really no good at being "outdoors-y", but I like to think I did okay! (Especially since I was able to shower, freshen up when needed and didn't have to pee in the woods)<- Can you tell I'm no good at camping ;)


This was Tristan's first time camping! He was such a good boy! The first night, we had no troubles getting him to sleep. This was my main issue of not wanting to go. I didn't think he would do well with the environment change once it was bed time. During the second day, he stayed in his pack n' play all day and had fun! He also decided that he was ready to sit up all by his big self!




We were able to take off every so often and get this, we took a walk.. by ourselves... outside! It was so nice! We also rode quads, when is that not fun? :)

Have to Keep Playing!

On Tuesday, Tj went out for the night so I was home with little T. I decided to put him in the exersaucer and he had a blast! I could tell he was tired, with rubbing his eyes every few seconds, but he did not want to stop! He fought sleep for about 20 minutes. He must have had a rough day. (Picture overload, but it shows how playtime went)

Okay... this might be fun

Oh no! I'm getting sleepy...

But that's not going to stop me!!

Okay, I'm done...

And this is where my night ended... at 8 o'clock pm. What am I supposed to do for the rest of the night??

Catch Up Post

Where do people find the time to keep up with these? I love posting, but the only time that I HAVE time is either a slow day at work or when I can barely keep my eyes open after putting Tristan to bed. Eesh!

Tristan tried rice cereal for the first time about two weeks ago. He didn't seem to like it and he was so frustrated, all he wanted was a bottle! He's starting to get the hang of it now. Practice practice!

We FINALLY got a Bumbo! More like FINALLY found a Bumbo that is BLUE, not pink or purple! Not everyone has a baby girl! He seems to like it for about 20 minutes at a time. After awhile he just wants to lay down and play with his toys.

One morning while getting ready for work he was so fussy and causing me to ! Every time I walked away, he would scream... then of course smile when I walked back to him. So, I put him in his Bumbo in front of my bathroom and he was a happy, happy boy! It was an easy fix. His onesie says "Rock all night, Sleep all day"

Father's Day was our first time putting him in the pool. He seemed so bored! Lol. No smile, no laugh and really there was no reaction to the water. I thought it would be a lot more fun!!

4 Months

Tristan will be 4 months old on Friday, June 18th!

We went to the doctor on Monday, and he weighs 17lbs! I know, he's a chunka! But, I just can't get enough of his sweetness!

Time to Say Goodbye

Unfortunately, yesterday I had to say goodbye my little Bailey Cakes. I hate that I had to do this, but it was for the best. So hard! It was best for us and for her.

Bailey had a very hard time welcoming the baby and I know she wasn't happy anymore. She is in a better home now, with my Aunt, where there's someone home with her most of the time and lots of other pets to keep her company... and no babies!

We just moved into a new condo this past weekend with a lot more room! Busy unpacking, cleaning, moving, settling in and STILL finding time to do our daily routines of work and giving Tristan all the love we have! I remember being young and it was my parents who did all of the work, so I didn't understand how MUCH work it was, and here I am now as the parent! Why isn't this part fun?!?!

Busy People!

Between working full time almost 30 minutes away from home, spending time with baby T and making time for myself, (as you can see) I haven't had much time to update the blog that I was so excited about. Oops. Hopefully this post will help motivate me to keep up again!!

Here it goes...

As of last week, Tristan is now 3 months old! Already?? We have hit MANY milestones since my last post! My baby is growing too fast, please slow down sweet boy

Last week, little T brought home this mohawk from the babysitters! I laughed until I was crying! Tj was convinced I sent him off like this- that it was ME who did it! I wonder why he would think that ;)

This was my first Mother's Day!! Tj and Tristan made it WONDERFUL! Tristan gave me Juicy, he already knows what his Mommy likes (This was a silver necklace with the letter "T" on it) He doesn't seem very excited about giving me his gift ha! We spent Mother's day with my family, starting out with going to church. Then we made our way to my grandparents house to visit for awhile.

Tristan is getting lots of tummy time with his tummy mat! He is so strong! A few weeks ago, Tristan rolled over and over and over! It was awesome, we were so excited! There's been times where we think he's about to crawl because of how active he is on his tummy!

Next month it will be time for baby T's 4 month visit to the doctor. I wonder how much my little(big) monster will weigh this time!! The doctor will be talking to us about starting rice cereal... on top of more shots. Dang shots, those things are awful. We're hoping to no longer need special formula to help with his colic. Fingers are crossed! The other night, we experienced a BIG laugh from our little man. It was amazing and I couldn't wait for the next belt!

Having a baby has really tested the relationship between Tj and I. It has definitely made us stronger and made me realize how blessed I am to have him as the father of my child.

We have lots coming up, so I will be sure to post more often :)

Check Out this 2 Month Old!

I cannot get over how fast time flies once you have baby! I miss him being a tiny newborn, but I also love how much personality he now has! It's so much fun, I just wish I could stay home with him and enjoy more of it instead of going to work. I've never missed anyone as much as I miss him in those 8 hours!It was Tristan's first time wearing shoes! They didn't seem to bother him at all! I asked him if he liked his shoes and this picture was his response!
Aren't they just too cute! *Notice the leg rolls ;) Love them!

He is starting to get so strong, tummy time isn't frustrating him as much as when we first started- he hated it at first! Now he can lay on his tummy for about 15-20 minutes until he gives up! I'm so proud of him! Last night, he almost rolled over but I think my reaction of freaking out with excitement stopped him!

This past weekend we went to Safford to vist TJ's family. It was TJ's Grandpas birthday, and Tristan wanted to help celebrate! It was EXTREMELY windy, so Baby T didn't get to spend much time outside with everyone.

Two Months Already

Baby T is now 2 months old! I can't believe it! He is growing WAY too fast!

Tristan is starting to smile sooooo much and it NEVER gets old! We can't seem to get enough of this little boy!

He had his 2 month check up on Monday and had his shots :( I think it hurt me more than it did him! He did awesome! He now weighs 13 lbs! He's a VERY chubby little boy, but we love every bit of chunk on him!

My little T has decided to give Mommy and Daddy more sleep at night, isn't he generous? :) He is sleeping almost 7 hours now BUT there's a catch... It only seems to be every other night. I'll take what I can get and that's definitely better than every 2 or 3 hours, that's for sure!

He had his first sleep over with Grandma (my mom) this past Friday. Oh how I missed him that night! I couldn't wait to have him back at home with us! It's weird to not have him around. It's so normal now to have him home with us, I've almost forgotten what life was like before him!

Deciding to Become...

A Blogger!
I have decided to create a blog to keep everyone updated mainly in our little mans growth! Since he is growing more and more every time I blink, I figured some of you would be interested in taking part in the experience! When I was younger I always wanted time to go by faster, and even more while I pregnant. Now, I want time to slow down just a tad!!! I hate thinking that my little boy will never be 1 day old and 7lbs 3oz again, because now he is 6 weeks old and 10lbs! Tj and I couldn't be more happy to have him with us and there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get in all the snuggling we want with him! We have so much love for our baby Tristan and that love will only grow stonger each day as we grow as a family together!
