Weekend Update

On Saturday, I took Tristan to his first Gymboree class. I decided to do this because I thought it would be such a fun thing for him and I to do together since we won't be spending as much time together starting Monday. I'm starting school which means some days, I may not even see him with both work and school, one after another. :(

He absolutely LOVED the class. He was a little timid since it was all new to him, but he did awesome and I can't wait until next Saturday to go again. The teachers were so friendly and they keep parents involved, instead of just watching.

We also went to Tristan's cousin Chloe's Birthday party!!

Wedding Inspiration

For those of you who do not know, Tj and I became engaged on Christmas Eve. There has been a lot going on since that time and we've been so back and forth about wedding plans. It is beyond stressful, yet so exciting to plan a wedding.

Top questions: Do we have a small or large wedding? Do we get a venue or get married in a church? Who do we want in the wedding party? Should we wait a few years? How much is it going to cost?... This has gone on and on... and probably will continue. *Sorry TJ

Originally, I was set on having a fall wedding with the colors red and champagne. As of today, this has changed. We are loving the weather right now and decided we would like to have our wedding this time next March so we can enjoy this on our wedding day/night. As I was browsing wedding pictures, I slowly started to take a liking to the color yellow. Then, I found these...

And we go from here...

It's True!!

First of all, yes, I am updating my blog! I really hope to keep it up this time! We have been beyond busy that my blog hasn't really crossed my mind. Okay, it did but it was always at the wrong time so I didn't do anything about it. Hopefully soon we'll be busy getting teeth and talking! Lots of updates to come!

Second... If you didn't already know, my little tiny baby boy (I don't think I can call him that anymore since he is now a TODDLER?) is ONE! We made it through the first year and we're ready to take on the rest of the years to come!

This was us one year ago... 2.18.2010

And here we are now... after one year! 2.18.2011

We had a great time celebrating Tristan's first birthday! It was very eventful and he loves all of his new toys! He especially loved all of the sweets he was given!

We love you sweet boy!!!!

Fast is NOT the Word to Use

Tristan has grown so much in the last month that I haven't even had time to blink. We have had so many firsts in the past month! I'm am so proud of my baby T and I love to watch him grow!

First things FIRST
  • Started using a sippy cup
  • Mastered the army crawl
  • Turned 7 months old!
  • Learned how pull himself up on his own (to sitting position)
  • Learned to crawl on all fours
  • Found his lungs... meaning, he loves to talk and YELL
  • STAND! He can pull himself up standing position now!

Apparently, Tristan doesn't like to do one thing for too long... He learns one thing, then he's ready for the next. I will admit, I absolutely LOVE this age! I love having a mobile baby. Keeps me on my feet, that's for sure! He likes to throw his toys and play with all things that aren't toys. Everything goes where? IN THE MOUTH!!

Below are a few pictures for you to have a better understanding of what's been going on lately, we've been BUSY!

XOXO, Enjoy :)

Camping!

This is a little late, my apologies. We have had so much going on lately and so much to deal with that I haven't had much time to sit and update. To say the least, I'm no good at keeping up with things.

Two weekends ago, we went camping and met Tj's family there in Payson. The weather was GREAT and so enjoyable. It was nice to be away and definitely helped clear our minds. I'm really no good at being "outdoors-y", but I like to think I did okay! (Especially since I was able to shower, freshen up when needed and didn't have to pee in the woods)<- Can you tell I'm no good at camping ;)

This was Tristan's first time camping! He was such a good boy! The first night, we had no troubles getting him to sleep. This was my main issue of not wanting to go. I didn't think he would do well with the environment change once it was bed time. During the second day, he stayed in his pack n' play all day and had fun! He also decided that he was ready to sit up all by his big self!

We were able to take off every so often and get this, we took a walk.. by ourselves... outside! It was so nice! We also rode quads, when is that not fun? :)

Enjoy!
XOXO
